It is meant to teach responsible harvesting of underwater game.

*** YOU MUST BE AN EXPERIENCED OPEN WATER DIVER OR HIGHER FOR THIS COURSE***
This course is designed to evoke a sense of Responsibility & Respect. It is the Responsibility of every diver to accept & foster a sense of Respect for Aquatic Life & their environment.
We will spend 2-3 hours in the classroom, and make 2 dives on a 4 hour trip aboard the "NARCOSIS"
Along with Responsibility & Respect, it is imperative to know & obey the rules & regulations that govern the sport of Spearfishing. We will spend a good bit of time discussing what fish, lobsters, and shells can be sustainably harvested, along with species in season & size limits.
Safety is of the utmost importance! You must know how to properly handle spearfishing equipment, and never be careless or complacent.
The cost for this course is $395.95, and includes Instructor, Classroom, Boat Trip, and Certification
(Any additional gear & tanks can be rented for the dive shop).
