This course is the first in the progression of leadership courses that can lead to being certified as an IDEA Instructor. The Divemaster course is approximately 40 hours of training time that includes classroom, pool, and open water training. In this program, the cognitive or classroom portion is at the instructor level and this program, therefore, becomes the first phase in leadership training. Requirements:
- The minimum age is 18yrs. old
- You will complete a medical questionnaire.
- You will need to be Advanced OWD and complete 20 additional dives, as well as a certified Rescue Diver, or the equivalent from another recognized diver certification agency.
- You will need to be certified or complete certification for First Aid (NSC, ARC, AHA, ASHI or equivalent), CPR (NSC, AHA, ARC, ASHI or equivalent), and Oxygen Provider (DAN or equivalent)
- Includes Tuition for $2,195 + $300 for application processing =$2,495.95
